Hi, I’m Blanca and this is my playground.
I’ve been wanting to write something like this for a long time. Not because I’m a fashion expert (I’m not), but because getting dressed is the way I play. It’s how I wake up my imagination. It’s how I tell stories. It’s how I express joy. I love clothes that have lived many lives. I love secondhand treasures, strange combinations, and things that make no sense until, suddenly, they do. I love digging through my mum’s closet and finding a piece that I had just saved on my favourite vintage site. I love dots, stripes, florals, checks, anything with character, the more playful, the better! I love terry cloth and that magical feeling of being somewhere else just by putting on the right shirt. I don’t follow trends. I follow instincts. Sometimes I dress like I’m going to a picnic in 1972, sometimes like I’m walking into an old Italian movie. That’s the fun of it, it doesn’t need to be serious, but it can still be beautiful.
