If you play with the head-centric mode engaged, you can clearly see the issue!

Hm, so I guess the issue here is that, while you can program it, the result doesn't actually respect the uniformity of the surface you're trying to implement -- the surface doesn't have any distinguished points like the corner, but this implementation does. Interesting.

What happens at the corners? E.g. if you go in a small circle around one of the corners, will it take you a full 360 degrees?
