Shatterrealm: The Conduit

Chapter One - Mobile Friendly Version

Although this comic takes place in my urban fantasy universe, Shatterrealm, it was written by my husband, Jared R. Williams, and exposes an existential crisis he privately struggled with through fertility issues and loss of faith. He never quite finished it, but what he did write was (in my opinion) brilliant. I only added one scene to help tie all the themes together. FYI, it would make Jared very happy if you imagined the robot with the voice of Avery Brooks.

This webcomic has already appeared on this Substack, but it’s come to my attention that it’s easier to read comics on a phone when you only get a few panels at a time. For those of you who haven’t read it yet, enjoy.

AMAZING work! I’m especially impressed in how you went all out with all the spacecraft and sci-fi stuff. It’s sometimes so daunting to draw “niche” comic genres like this. I wanted to ask you: why aren’t you posting just a few pages per week/month, and instead posting whole issues? It’s a honest question from someone who’s starting to post work on substack too.
