I shame them about what they are doing will do to THEIR families ie children and grand children. I also talk about how history will remember them. ie Hitler, Stalin, Franco, and their enablers.

I talk about what will happen when they fail to them and their families.

All this might not move them but I hope they think about these things in the dark when the house is silent and they cannot sleep.

Also, it makes me feel better to say how I feel and know I tried. I say calling is better than nothing. I think an email or letter might be better. Makes more of an impression and I think more of your thoughts might can through than just a recording on a phone that someone lightly.summarizes. I also attended a NO Kings protest and do boycotts of products companies and stores.

Same here (NE): the avoid hearing us. Deb Fisher has a list of people not allowed into her public meetings. Pete Ricketts is doing the same now. (Flood is the only one holding public meetings...and suffering for it...maybe have seen clips of these on Colbert and MSNBC.) I used to think they believed the next election will be bought, but now wonder if it will be rigged, due to one company now owning voting machines (& related programs), so they are just raking in money from insider trading while things fall apart. Plus, T has loyalists in M.Zuckerberg and J.Bezos.

Are they holding townhalls? If not, and maybe even if so, maybe you can call or email the office of AOC or Bernie Sanders or another Dem Senator or Rep you like and ask them to do a townhall in your area. Tell them it's an opportunity to flip some red to blue. It's worth a try.

Ohhh. Is Tom Cotton your Senator or Boozman? If so, I understand why you're here looking for answers. Cotton is up for re-election in 2026, and he's on the hot seat to prove he's going to help the farmers in AK who are really struggling. They need markets, workers and capital. Even if 64% are said to have voted for Trump, there's a ripe opportunity for Dems to convert hearts and minds there and to turn Cotton's seat BLUE in 2026 and to vote BLUE in 2028.

I'd reach out (call/email) to the Bill Clinton Foundation and ask them what they can do. They may be able to get some Dems to do a townhall there or give you some other ideas. One step at a time. One voice can make a difference. Best to you!

He isn't just educated, but is a family man and an actual follower of Christ, not Christian Nationalism which is just a fancy phrase for white supremacy. Again, I digress. He is going to be running for state representative.

Wig has shown her since her election he doesn't care about her either. He denied her request for help for our state. She ain't no better bc she has caused havoc in this state.

Research the podium and trip to Paris. Who paid for all of that? Who lied and the consequences? The podium, she even posted a video saying come get it. Smart mouth wench with no sense.

It's such a tragic state of affairs when people's hate of color overpowers even their own need for help - that they themselves would rather suffer than do anything to help their fellow man (person of color). That's a true diagnosable sickness! That an entire state could get that way before it ever got stopped, even after so many laws passed, tells me this goes back generationally. Talk about the untold other half of the story of (white) ROOTS and exactly how did a people get so ingrained in that type of mentality and thinking! It sounds like crazy talk, and it's hard for me to relate to that kind of thinking here in CA, but I believe it is how you say it is. I know your state isn't the only one either. I don't know how you make it there.

I do thank you for your input.

And I really enjoyed your style of writing and expressing yourself. I will check out the substack you mentioned, Bloom in Dissent, and the info on the voting machines. There's another substack (The Truth Will Hold?) that has also done a series of articles about

the meddling with voting machines. It certainly is enough to cast doubt on the process and make one wonder how we might ever hold another accurate election. I do recall "him" saying that they (the Evangelists) may never have to vote again of they just vote for him THIS time, but then since his falling out with Musk I thought maybe he won't have access to that kind of technical advice around algorithms this time, but i'm aware that HE is now aware that voting algorithms can be changed, likely doesn't need Musk anymore, and perhaps why he was pushing the paper ballots because those paper readers as I understand it can be tampered with, and why he is so against mail in ballots, which are harder to tamper with or challenge (and judges have certified the ones that were challenged in the 2024 election, for instance in the NC Supreme Court race). Then someone also said Ivanka has purchased voting machines (for use in what election, idk, but that is also curious). So I do think there will be an election, but I'm urging everyone to vote by mail-in ballot, as early as possible, so there will be plenty of time to count the votes - as he has also said he prefers to have all the votes.Come in and be counted in one day. Given how he's been operating, i wouldn't put it past him to call the election closed at midnight on election day, in an attempt to eliminate the votes of millions of people.

Anyway, thanks for the info. We have to me armed with as much information as possible.

And hold his feet to the fire as much as possible in the meantime. I'm very happy that our judicial system is holding strong, at least offering some initial relief at the lower court levels.

Troublesome. I suggest capturing in-person video or off of the screen you're watching and send it to the L.A. Mayor and to Newsom and to MSNBC (aka MS-NOW) and bring it to their attention or to that of the public as in send it/bring it to your local news station, or put it on your own substack (go to substack.com and create an account for free).

Newsom HAS increased attempts to curtail crime in CA, but city police are under no obligation to help ICE with immigrant arrests unless there is probable cause, as I believe they operate under separate jurisdictions. If it's happening make them explain WHY. And, in any case, it's lawful to protest non-violently. It's our constitutional right. So I would put any videos you obtain if this nature on blast. You can make a difference.

For those of you who are bitching that I comment too much. I don't write on behalf of myself. I write in support of the National Anti-tRump / Fight the Oligarchs Resistance.

Many of the writers and broadcasters, their readers and I have a common goal - to bring down the tRump, his administration from hell, his ICE henchmen and the billionaire oligarchs that own and control them all!

I'm not a computer scientist but I do know that the more comments my favorite writers get the stronger their Substack's become. Our country's true leaders are telling us that - the People are the only ones with the power to end this nightmare. The writers/journalists know that spreading the word is the most powerful tool we have to support this new Civil Rights Movement! All of our resistance efforts have failed to bring down the tRump. They fail because the majority of Americans never hear about them.

Most of the organizers are volunteers, many are seniors. They are not professionals. They are not oligarchs with unlimited marketing funds. They don't have corporate sponsors. I found a way to support the organizers and broadcasters at the same time by listening to the broadcasts while using the comments to support the organizers. The writers, the journalist and the resistance organizers all benefit from my comments. United we stand, divided we fall.

I never ask for people to follow me but, my Substack continues to grow. People want to help. They appreciate having optional ways to defeat the tRump. I am already struggling to keep up with my readers I want to respond to them all but I don't have enough time anymore. Unfortunately, my notifications disappear if I can't get to them fast enough (apologies to those I don't get to reply back to). So I was happy to discover that I could save time using the comments while listening to my favorite broadcasters.

No one makes anyone read my comments or anyone else's. Bypass them if you don't like them. Block me if you don't want to see them. If you don't want to save our democracy and restore our civil liberties don't read anything I write.

One Million Rising (on YouTube) is a great free resource to train organizers how to build a movement. The organizers can use that free education to build whatever kind of resistance they want.

The rallies are wonderful but not as effective as Strikes and Blackouts. All of these only work if people are willing to commit to making some sacrifices. Unfortunately, most Americans don't seem to give a damn. It's easy to tell which ones are committed to saving our democracy and which aren't by asking how many new seldom wore clothes/shoes are in their closets, how many beauty products are cluttering their bathrooms, how much money are they spending on unnecessary travel, entertainment and socializing (theaters, streaming services, bars, sport events, concerts, eating out). If we aren't willing to make these small temporary sacrifices now, we may soon have nothing left to fight for.

Führer tRump has begun the beginning stages of genocide in the USA. People are dieing because of him, his ICE Gestapo and his Administration from hell. Unless you want your children and grandchildren to grow up in this hate filled Un-United nation we all must rise, unite and support the resistance in every way possible. Jimmy Kimmel Helped but we still have a Long Way to Go!

I am sad to report that America still has no where near the numbers of resisters we need to save our democracy but Jimmy Kimmel helped a lot. Studies show that historically, we need just a tiny 3.5% (11 million American protesters and boycotters) of the US population to effectively end the reign of the tRump, his oligarchs supporters and the administration from hell!

Tell Americans that we have lost our democracy and civil rights and they understandably, just don't believe that can happen in America and they do nothing. Threaten their entertainment and they immediately jumped up, boycotted Disney and they got Jimmy Kimmel his job back!

I am not even sure if they knew they were fighting for their own right to free speech or if they were strictly fighting for just their entertainment. Either way Kimmel helped alert Americans that the tRump was threatening our civil rights!

So if it helps motivate you to support the resistance, you all should know that the tRump, just like other evil dictators, really does want to control which TV shows, movies and music we are allowed to watch and listen to.

I sure wish we could get all of you this excited about Not Shopping! We got one man his job back. Now can we please try to end an orange man's job. By now MAGA and some of the people who didn't vote should be starting to realize that things are seriously wrong in our country. We need to reach out to these awakening citizens and help them step in to the light, discover the truth and help us restore our civil rights and rebuild our democracy!

In NC where the Republican’s removed the Governor’s typical powers and decision making powers because he is, as elected by us, a Democratic Governor as the Republican choice was Mr. “Women who cannot keep their skirts down and then wanna keel (kill) their baby”! What an A!!

NC sadly no matter what I debated chose Trump… he refused to help our devastated the western part of NC after the 2024 hurricane that devastated their town and homes… the downed trees then caused Spring flooding and my western neighbors continue to suffer as NC had our half of recovery funds but just like Trump’s many many campaign promises… he failed to do as he promised … help those whose lost homes, towns, safety by stepping up! He Lied and he stepped and demolished voters who believed in his promises by refusing to send the Federal funds we sent to the Federal Govt to help in these situations!

Keep giving 2% of your constituents tax breaks? 98% of us who Do Vote are coming back to the ballot box… you failed your people, the US citizens! You can block, buy up tv stations, let Byte Dance be bought by Sky Dance owned by Paramount.

We See You! And We Are Remembering everything you did… not for the 98% of your people as you promised…. But what you real action were once you got it! The media isn’t crooked! Wow, Mary, that's some focused, righteous outrage you have! I'm so sorry for what you and NC have been through. Other states like CA and TX have also had disasters misnanaged or abandoned due to no FEMA funding or reduced staffing. So I hear you, have compassion for you and join you in your prayer. I subscribe to the same (regular) Christian beliefs that Stacey Abrams does: Where two or more are gathered together, there is He in the midst. So in God's timing, right? However, in the meanwhile, we take our steps and do what we can. I thank you for your post. Your voice did not get lost in the wilderness. It landed. I heard you. And you are not alone.

Your state did have a tremendous democratic victory not too long ago by Allison Riggs defeating GOP (Griffin) attempts to eliminate approximately 60,000 mail-in ballots and, as such, added one more Democrat Justice, Allison Riggs, to your state Supreme Court so now we have a narrow majority there, granted by just 734 votes, showing that every vote counts! She fought very hard in court for six months and won! We have to stop and notice the silver linings, and celebrate them, as we continue to clear the dark clouds overhead by bringing the light.

That case, however, showed the vulnerability of mail-in ballots. Many shut-ins, disabled and military use mail-in ballots along with the general public so it's important that they be filled out properly, signed and mailed in the accompanying envelope so they are not questioned.

Pass the word to your local lawmakers or Registrar of Voters and/or DNC so they can do a wide-spread campaign on proper mail-in ballot procedures.

I truly appreciate your engagement in standing up for our democracy.

Thank you first and foremost for reaching out! I pray for All states and they are many… some who experienced several weather related disasters, one after another!

You may pass on any further verbal tirade I write below… (and I copied and cut a lot of it as it covered so many worrisome occurrences) I did what I could to spare you 😊

So, if you are reading… some things of late, starting with his embarrasing UN visit (But Wait! wanna chuckle? A UK’s paper’s front page statement today about Trump referred to him as… “the world’s most powerful man-baby” Yikes!) But he cannot sue, indict them, or Cancel them like Kimmel! I guess perhaps he will just stew about how upset he is while he gets his BP increased. Kinda like what he has put us through every day!

Ok, you are a good woman of Faith… but what I need to vent… you are relieved of having to read any more ☮️🕊️🙏

Trump told members of the UN get off the “green” investments, also arrogantly telling them so many insulting things like they are Failing nations (so ungraciously as an invited speaker to NATO our long time friends, who with us helped discourage the start of a WWIII… now possible with an unchecked Putin).

He actually said, if they were smart they would follow his actions and attitudes… plans!

They were if not belittled but insulted as they should have been, we were all assembled to look at and listen to what the US could offer/advise to help NATO to finally neuter Putin’s outrageous play to take more of Ukraine’s lands but now Putin’s commited war crimes and the cost has reached a level of outrageousness in terms of the costs in human lives (civilians/kids/their safe hideaways were targeted too) and disabilities of those fighting but More just innocents now without limbs and more! Trump offered again and as usual a lot of possible actions he’s stated every time he’s asked but he for some reason will not act, even with add’l economic sanctions… to encourage Putin and Russia to leave and make peace with Ukraine/Zelensky.

(So, ok He cannot stop the war(s) he blamed on Biden in a day as he Swore he’d do immediately! And again, his arrogance makes his mouth run but can never back the rhetoric with real action.) Trump’s inaction makes the US look vulnerable and weak which is why Putin poked Poland with an inordinate (not an accident) number of drones. And no response tells Putin… do More… poke more for weakness or NATO infighting!

I am a non-violent Christian woman who believes in prayer and am grateful every day despite challenges. Let me say… I should Not have said “sooner than later” as it’s beneath my usual mores, but I can only think this daily onslaught of the wholesale ruination of my country I loved… hurt me… and I spoke to hurt. It should say when he meets his Maker!

Hey, Mary!

You are clearly shocked and feel seemingly threatened by the actions and lack of actions of DJT. I will not speak to you in biblical verses or offer you platitudes, as if they would help you in this moment, anyway,with such heightened feelings - which you are entitled to in any case.

I've gone through many challenges in my life where the only way to look was up, dealing with true evil at my door, trying to destroy me in one way or another. Those difficult positions drew me closer and closer to the Lord since He was the only reliable and faithful one U could turn to - as I've either been alone or felt alone most of my life, but kept needing to move forward as single mother of a baby boy. I would say the only reason I'm here today is because of my faith, and my faith is only as strong as it is today because it's been tested over and over and over.

He's ALWAYS there, but given our free will, I needed to go TO Him, and ASK or KNOCK before He could help me. We have been given the gift of the Holy Spirit as well so we can also listen for its quiet urgings telling us which way to go. God allowed me to go 'round and 'round the same old problem until I was so exhausted physically and mentally and I would finally surrender my will to His.

What I'm saying, perhaps not very well, is we can focus on what's wrong and how bad everything is, or we can ask the Lord for guidance in our tough moments and focus on what power we DO have and on what impact we CAN have. There will be hundreds of more U.N.-like incidents with DJT. Of that we can be sure! We cannot let ourselves be distracted by the theatrics of it all. We must keep our eyes on the prize. For every time we allow what DJT does to get us upset we become unavailable to ourselves, and to the power we've been given to change our little corner of the universe with our kindness, compassion, generosity and such. We have no control over what others do, but we can model hope, faith and love for those around us: loved ones, coworkers, friends and strangers.

Christian Nationalism is bringing a negative impact to all Christians so it's a great opportunity to show people what true Christian's are all about. Are we going to get upended? Probably. Are we going to feel threatened? Likely. And yet as Christians can we know peace at a moment's notice just by asking it from Christ? Absolutely! So that's my msg to you, Mary. When you're sensing the news is becoming overwhelming for you take the time to spend some quality time feeding your soul with whatever does that for you - spending time in the Word, meditating, doing deep breathing, taking a walk in nature or a bike ride, listening to calming or centering music, serving one less fortunate, journaling, taking a drive, etc. Only you know what brings you back to you - to your baseline. It is only then we have our gifts once again readily available to ourselves and to others.

Do you know what your gifts and talents are, Mary? Maybe start there and ask yourself or Christ how best to use them on any given day. I did a YouTube video on this topic during the pandemic. I think it's my 3rd video on @SowingSeedsWithChristy if you're interested. I think the Holy Spirit told me what was coming and how to prepare for it and possibly others. (<15 mins).

I admire you for all you shared and I know you must be a person of great faith 🙏.

I have faced decades of varying hard times, most of them serious health challenges.

I survive all of it because I am a person of faith but I understand it would be hard to discern that as I come to Substack to unload a myriad of serious concerns over not just DJT… but his cult-leader like hold over a political party such that they don’t bother with their job to write legislation that serves their voters, but allowed a frightening onslaught for months of Executive Orders in silence. Instead the Trust voters placed in officials they elected to ? perhaps get creative with an attempt at a flat or tiered federal tax system where there are no expensive CPA looking for write offs! We might learn to not feel April 15th as a heavy date but with Everyone paying say 10% (easy number!) of their $10k salary or 10% of their $1 million dollar investment income. Love your country let’s celebrate Tax Day where we Fund… We Fund!… through our elected officials who represent our requested issues addressed/debated and if necessary compromised to a livable solution… love it if we gave a yeah or nay but it’s redundant if they’d just do their job! lol.

I got being sad but frightened too!

I wake to a sign “Be Grateful” as a reminder of how my life has had God rescue me in my life through personal threats, constant health threats that have left it hard for me to take more than a minute or an hour… some blessed days… a whole day I am able to socialize, love, breathe in the air and feel the sun on my face even with pain, debilitating fatigue and limbs that choose to not assist me to be mobile under my own body’s bone and musculature.

I am not complaining!

I am grateful every day and I love my country but foresaw what Citizen’s United maybe 15 or so years ago would deliver or work to undo in our one vote, one citizen democracy! I go from sad or depressed to angry and occasionally furious!

Actually around the mid to late 1980s when companies no longer felt like FDRs plans, social programs, their funding thru our paychecks etc should be on them… quietly there was a business shift from benefit defined retirement plans to employee funded (oh sure an up to 3% match if u invested… and a couple of decades and gone were any employer funded pensions or other employee benefits paid for my the companies.

I witnessed CEO pays suddenly soar with the extra cash! Workers pay… soar? More like snore and we fell behind and required two incomes in most households til childcare managed to force a crushing blow to families which kills me to here a certain party espouse Christian and Family Values as the main tenet of a party I could not recognize. And their actions did not support their rhetoric! Like DJT’s campaign “I’m one of or was it… just like you”.

I debated pre-election any family member or friend who I could pose the question of… after a violent political mob spurred on to the Capitol by DJT… and he’d worked his peeps up that at that point in time where the election now required certification… VP Pence was to blame! (And I dare not think on if they caught up with him what other group think hateful acts would have been committed.

I stated I felt certain we’d seen the tip of a not too school smart but master deviants’ potential to destroy America. He is more vocal now he has the presidency how much he truly hates our country’s mores and values in spite of him singing the term… it is vile… Christian Nationalism. A term which wishes to co-op the goodness, love your brother as yourself actions we try our best to practice as Jesus taught. The only commandment that covers many of the 10 if you can’t recall them… but need to check your behavior. Does an immigration policy help our country… yes. Why didn’t we set one after 9/11 when we felt more as one?

But Nationalism is a world-wide cry because people forget… well let us start with USA… we stole these lands from the indigenous peoples. But for US, now that we reside here, and other countries crying this un Christian like self-serving slogan to cause issue for those who immigrated to our/their countries legally say.

People no longer want to consider if their own immigrated family members (especially to US) were refused permission to immigrate, say during Ireland’s potato famine… how would they have felt, or has this type of question crossed their mind?

With so many geographical areas, for varying reasons: weather, conflicts, displacement finding themselves facing everything from full on starvation to severe food insecurities reaching famine levels. Those who monitor these things said 2024 saw a huge rise in acute level food shortages pointing to devastation on the world’s horizon. The places run from Gaza of course, Haiti, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen.

Yet, I’ll state it more succinctly… my point. There’s enough land, food, land to grow food like from our Midwest where on the word of one billionaire… he chose to let that food rot, and in his wealthy mind which went the wrong way… the people could rot!

I pray every day about the enormity of how our humankind has lost their way… empathy, love of others, doing things for… sure your legacy! A Canadian man after the sale of his highly successful company took his millions or billions and started building a style of the “little house” trend. Villages or towns of them to provide affordable homes for so many people living in their vehicles, or the streets… (after FOX’s Brian Kilmeade’s comment about involuntary lethal injections for our homeless and mentally ill… (my editorial comment… are they not in some large measure our Veterans? So lethal injections for those who may have fought for your freedom or safety from terrorism!) Today… I turn FOX on in limited measures to hear what my neighbors and friends hear. I told them watch FOX? Who was sued for lying about Dominion and was ordered to pay like $840 or so Billion.

What I do notice or take away… they report Only news flattering to Trump. So, there’s no point for me as they continue, receiving, ironically very fake or planned appropriate news by a station’s wealthy CEO.

My neighbors choose to Not know in some respects.

Ask them about campaign promises made and the devastation delivered in order to give the Wealthiest 2% another tax break. The needy or worried, still hopeful and prayerful 🙏… have the Lord God on our side. He’ll help fix this, turn around the threats we see for a WWIII or He has foretold of a time of such human failure… and we have witnessed llmorally have flown past Sodom and Gomorrah! But I trust in Him ✝️
