Elina came down to the kitchen, hearing noises. Mihai was not bothered. She didn’t think anything could bother the great dark shadow of a dog. Hell hound or not, it sat with it’s stomach exposed when sleeping, and it’s massive white teeth like little jagged mountains against purple-black gums.

Some women's souls are made of foxes and cleverness and belladonna, in between, and you cannot stuff them inside of a house and tell them to behave. They have night magic and the call of the ancestors and wisdom running through their veins. We will not be silent for a man in a bow tie and scripture in his bio.
