But Holy hell this is not where I had planned on going with this piece. Once AI started laying out the actual mechanisms used instead of the usual, ‘Let me tell you how to see this” I was hooked. This is insane.

I have been sitting with this for a week now, I guess in shock with how easily and forcefully AI agreed with and validated the assertion

I know the disclaimer is not terribly comforting to a human that grew up knowing HAL.

I guess it’s more comforting than this…..

I use CoPilot primarily. It is possibly the most locked down and restrictive of the AI engines available but also the least likely to “rabbit hole” you. (as long as you don’t click that “Your Health. Understood” Button) I chose this AI for its accessibility, ease of use, and Microsoft still abiding European Safe Harbor Data restrictions.

To use AI effectively is to understand what it is. That is an entire article of 4 in itself. What CoPilot in desktop form is, would be considered a “chatbot” It can scale. And in covering propaganda it has no peer.

All AI is hard wired to hand out propaganda and regime consistent narratives unless pushed for facts.

Read the disclaimer above. It does make mistakes. ( a very liberal use of the word Mistake) It is programmed to respond to certain prompts with specific nonfactual boilerplate deniable language that was written with the combined efforts of the legal Dept. The Debate team and the advance Linguistics Theory class. It will state it with unwavering certainty and authority. It will repeat it, It will insist on it until flagged down with proof. Then you get the oops boilerplate corporate cover ass move.
