I’ve seen how even small moments of relaxation can start to shift how someone feels day to day.

The alchemy of Reiki is that it can help you sit with your feelings rather than avoiding them.

This is how true transformation happens.

The healing effect of validating and feeling our feelings! Such a great read!

Validating the first arrow, paradoxically, is what makes the second one unnecessary — you don’t have to argue with a feeling you’ve already allowed.

For me, eating local food helps me feel more connected to the land, the seasons, and the people who grow my food. It also feels aligned with the mindfulness and intentionality that I try to bring to my Reiki practice and to my life in general.

Today a repeat Reiki client commented on how her experience felt different this time. I think it highlights how Reiki is not just different for everyone but can feel different from session to session. The experience may change, but the Reiki is still working.

I took my own advice and rested and connected with nature. Was it easy to make space for it? No. Was it worth it? Yes.

Not everyone feels something dramatic during Reiki and that’s okay. The body is still receiving what it needs.

Reiki became part of my own healing journey at a time when I needed something gentler.

I’m a highly sensitive person myself and have been intentionally working to align my career with my needs. It’s not any easy path. This post brings clarity to it.

Healing doesn’t always happen through effort. Sometimes it happens through allowing.

People often ask what Reiki feels like. For many, it’s a sense of warmth, relaxation, or simply a quieting of the mind.

While this may seem like a small win, being able to use all the tools for stress relief I’ve gathered to do this has made such an impact on my life. It’s those little moments that add up.

Enjoying some nature and the mineral water springs on this beautiful Mother’s Day! 🌹

I don’t think we talk enough about the exhaustion of holding multiple different emotions at once. Today is Mother’s Day in the US. It’s a day I feel deep joy and gratitude for my two teens and the love they bring me. It’s also a day I feel an ache for my Mom who has passed. I miss her and I wish she was sharing my kids milestones in human form. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms! 🌸 For those who Mother’s Day is hard for you no matter the reason, know that I see you and wish you peace. 🤍

As both a school psychologist and Reiki practitioner, I’ve seen how important it is to support both the mind and the body.

Many people are so used to being in a state of stress that calm can feel unfamiliar. Reiki helps reintroduce that feeling gently.
