5 No-Bake Treats for Hot Summer Days
Simple, better-for-you treats that require zero baking and minimal effort
Well... my oven is currently broken for the foreseeable future, so apparently we’re entering our no-bake era.
Honestly? I’m not mad about it.
Between the summer heat and not wanting to turn my kitchen into a sauna, I’ve been leaning hard into freezer treats, easy snacks, and desserts that come together without baking a single thing. And somehow they’ve ended up becoming some of my favorite recipes of the season.
If you’re looking for a few sweet treats to keep stocked in your fridge or freezer this summer, these are five recipes I’ve been making on repeat lately.
Cookie Dough Bark 🍪🍫
This recipe tastes like the love child of cookie dough and a chocolate bar.
It’s sweet, crunchy, chocolatey, and one of those freezer treats that somehow disappears way faster than you planned.
I’ve been seeing the viral cookie dough bark everywhere, so obviously I had to make a better-for-you version.
Trust me, it tastes just as good!!
Chocolate Covered Apple Slices 🍎🍫
The easiest little sweet treat that somehow feels fancy.
Fresh apple slices covered in chocolate and topped with date caramel and pecans make the perfect afternoon snack or after-dinner dessert.
Banana Snickers Bites 🍌🥜🍫
These have been on repeat in my freezer lately.
They’re creamy, chocolatey, peanut buttery, and genuinely remind me of a frozen Snickers bar—but made with simple ingredients.
Raspberry Yogurt Clusters 🍓✨
If you’ve never made yogurt clusters before, this is your sign.
Sweet raspberries, creamy yogurt, and a chocolate shell are pretty much the definition of the perfect summer treat.
Cookie Dough Bites 🍪🤍
A What Robin Eats classic.
Soft, chewy, perfectly sweet, and ideal for keeping in the freezer for those moments when you just want a little something.
These never last long in our house.
At this point, I’m fully embracing the no-bake lifestyle. Whether that’s because it’s summer, because my oven is broken, or because I simply don’t feel like baking... we’ll never know.
What I do know is that all five of these recipes are easy, delicious, and perfect for keeping stocked in the fridge or freezer when you need a little sweet treat.
